To Move Beyond?
April 1, 2008
Lord Jesus, where do we go from here? You have warned us and continue to do so. You are calling us to awaken to which we have chosen to, by your grace and mercy. You are calling us to come up, and behold greater realities of and the more of your Spirit, to which we have responded by your grace and mercy, even Yes, Lord Jesus! You have warned of things to come that will stretch us beyond our experience and understanding. You have warned us of the persecution that is yet before us, as your people. You have warned us of the significant changes that are going to take place within our nation, to which we said, Lord have mercy and prepare us as we look to and continue to look only unto you, who is our only genuine hope. Still Lord Jesus, where do we go from here?
You have shown us the church of the earth and its condition of deafness and darkness, of light and hope, of its growing apostasy and yet also of your Body and its growing in the transcendency of your Holy Spirit. You have shown us that which lays behind the presentations in too many professing churches and ministries. We have seen the truth of the lies which are there, of the deceit and deceptions, and of the ease with which too many of your professing believers are being seduced. Yet, you also have shown us some of the more of your transcendent promises and of your call to us your people, your children. Oh, again, Lord Jesus, we cry out, where do we go from here?
Do we continue to press ever forward in you Lord Jesus? Do we continue to keep our eyes and ears upon you Lord Jesus? Do we continue to grow in your Holy Word, oh Lord? Do we continue to worship and celebrate you and the greatness of your provision and enduring faithfulness? Do we continue to set our hearts, eyes and ears upon heavenly things, upon the Kingdom that is now and yet shall even come in its fullness? Do we continue to press into your faithfulness becoming those who are ever faithful in all we do, say and are? Do we continue dying to ourselves and surrendering to you, that you would increase and we would decrease? Yes, Lord Jesus, do we continue to believe that you are calling us up, more and more, into the glory of your sons, to our doing, in and through you, greater things than you did in the earth? Do we continue to believe that you have called us to the more of your self, to the more of your Kingdom now, to the more of your Living Word in the earth, to the more of your ever present burdens and realities? Do we continue to believe that we will see the reality of your transforming work being made manifest in fresher and yes, even newer dimensions than we ourselves have seen and have genuinely known?
Yes, Lord Jesus, Yes to all the above and more, Yes, we shall and by your ever present grace, truth, power, and mercy, we will continue.
So then, there yet remains the question, where to now, where do we go from here? Oh Lord Jesus, let us come up, yes Lord Jesus, let us come up!
Come Lord Jesus, Come! Come and lift us up into yourself, in an ever increasing measure. Let us behold the glory of your face, the wonder of your heart and the beauty of your person. Come and release us, ever increasingly, from the shackles of who we were apart from you, releasing us more and more into the living reality and Kingdom power of who You are and would be and become, in and through us. Release us into your glory, into the revelation of your Holy Spirit and Truth, more and more. Come Lord Jesus and open up to us the Now pending reality of your Kingdom oh God, of your miraculous working oh Lord. Come and set us experientially free to rise in and with you, into your ministry, in and throughout the earth. Let us become, in your gracious truth, a people of your Spirit, of your Will, Word, and Ways revealed and made manifest. Let us become those, who is Spirit and Truth, reflect ever increasingly your face, your heart, your person, your hope, your faith, your love, simply and yet more fully, You!
Draw us up oh Lord, yes, draw us up, into the living and tangible reality that is yours. Draw us up, more and more, that we may come to see as you see, to hear as you hear and know as you know. Draw us up that we might become in perfect harmony with you and your actions, becoming fully surrendered to you, ever more completely and humbly. Oh Lord Jesus, may it be you, whom others see and hear, in, to and through us, forever and again. May it be You, oh Lord Jesus, that we bear witness to, in Spirit and in Truth. May it be you, oh Lord, to whom we bring, ever increasingly, the greater glory, honor, and praise. May it be your life we live. May it be you in whom we authentically live and move and have our being, even you Lord Jesus! May the cries of your heart become our cries, oh Lord. May the burden of your heart become ours. May your perfect, Will, Word and Ways become, in Spirit and Truth, ours, Lord Jesus. May we, ever and ever more, be and become, a people whose very lives are lived for you and your greater glory, honor and praise!
Awaken us oh Lord! Awaken us from our slumber, our denial, our blindness and deafness, our apathy and indifference. Yes! Awaken us from the dullness of our everyday lives and living. Awaken us out of the midst of this lonely and dying world and into the light and the glory of your Kingdom come and of your will being done. Awaken us, in Spirit and Truth, your People, in the earth. Awaken us to the living and viable reality of your Kingdom and its workings now in the earth and beyond. Awaken us, opening our eyes to see you and to hear you even more clearly and perceptively, giving you all of the glory, honor and praise! Oh Lord Jesus, awaken us to the fire of your living and alive Word, to your eternal passion, to the ever present glory of your Kingdom and to the ever greater wonder of your workings in the earth. Let us see oh Lord, yes, let us see in the Spirit, your reality of presence, power and now workings in and throughout the earth. Let us, oh Lord, yes let our hands and hearts become joined together with yours, in all that you are doing, that we may indeed partake of your divine nature, participating in and with you, in it all.
Though we have fallen may we arise, in the Lord Jesus Christ! Though our light has dulled and diminished, let the brilliance of your radiance become ever more manifest, in and through us your people. Let us truly arise in the light of your glory oh Lord, yes, let us arise! Let us behold your face! Let us See you more and more clearly as you are now, that we may be and become as you are now, in Spirit and Truth! Let the Day, Your Day, truly Dawn. Let the Morning Star, Yours, truly arise within us, your very own people, that all may see you. Let it be, Oh Lord, let it be known, in and through us, that you are genuinely, truly and authentically, the Only Begotten Son of the Most High God, The Lord Jesus Christ!
Let us bring you Glory, Honor and Praise, Lord Jesus, Let us bring you Worship! Let the Song’s of the Lord Arise within and through us oh Lord! Let your Prophetic Worship arise, in and through us your people Oh Lord! Let that Prophetic Worship which is authentically of your Holy Kingdom Now, and truly not of man, arise and be made manifest, within and through us, your Holy and Righteous People, oh Lord Jesus Christ! Let your Holy Prophetic Worship Arise! Let all Creation Arise! Let Your Holy Angels Arise! Let All Your Holy People Arise! Let us All Together Arise in the Worship of our Lord, God and King! Let Us Worship, in the presence of our Lord God Almighty, forever and ever, Let us Worship He, our Lord and Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ! Amen!
So, where do we go from here, let us go beyond. Let us go beyond where we are, now. Let us go, and keep on going in the Lord Jesus Christ to where He is now, into what He is doing now, saying now, and forevermore being now. Let us go with the Lord Jesus Christ, forward now!

may God bless you for your humility before Him.
confidence in oneself will surely drag us into the delusions that so abound these days.
i have wondered– as the breadth of Christianity is eroded by lies, as per satan’s granted time, perhaps the depth of remaining true souls will be increased.
may we cling to that which is true– to our Savior. and may God’s will be done (and so it will)!

Adopted, thank you so very much for your comments and encouragement.
Yes, I do believe there will come an increased clarity as to whom are authentically the Lord’s and those who are not.
I also believe that those who are authentically of the Lord Jesus Christ will more and more stand out from those who simply profess a kind of faith that is not genuine or authentic.
I so long to found within the reality of the Lord’s authentic faith, truth and walk.
May we cling to He who is our Lord and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, with all that He is and would be within and through us, for His greater glory, honor and praise!
Every Blessing in the Lord Jesus Christ!

Greetings. How imperative it is for every true saint to take this to heart. To get before the Lord in sincerety; drawing closer day by day and hour by hour. To let go of everything that’s superficial and be a faithful ambassador for Christ in the remaining moments of the age. This is why I like Philippians so much; because in it Paul talks of how he has suffered the loss of all things; counting them but dung, that he may win Christ. He is “betwixt” as his only reason for having any desire to remain here is to further the gospel of Jesus and minister to the churches. We’re going to need this same level of steadfastness if were to endure what’s shaping up in the valley of decisions.
The title is so perfect. We need to “move beyond” the programs and facades of “having a form of godliness.” We must, in all sincerety, come before the Lord and ask “where do we go from here?” Then we need to be ready to act accordingly when he responds. To truly “love not our own lives in this world.” This has been in my heart for days as to it’s significance. It can seem like a hard thing to reach, but what perfect peace and liberty awaits those who lay aside all that’s not of God and, in sincerety, pray “Here am I.”
Have a blessed day and a blessed week in Jesus.

[...] post after coming home from work - on my day off, as usual - and I was blessed upon reading it. To Move Beyond is a cry from our brothers heart that needs to be heeded, for it is the Father cry for His people [...]

i enjoyed the post and the comments that have followed.
i have been thinking so much of 1 cor 13 lately:
even so many good things will at the end be meaningless: faith, hope, knowledge, and prophesy.
but love will endure for all eternity!
may we love in word, action, and spirit, as our Master has exemplified and commanded!
God bless eternally,
brother paul

Adopted, thank you once again for your thoughts and comments.
Forgive me as I believe it is important to qualify such thoughts as you have shared, especially in light of where are as a nation and world. Genuine God Faith, Hope, and Love will all remain even as He our Lord and God is and remains. Therefore Yes, may we love even as the Lord God Almighty loves and is love. He is love, and yet not all that we call love is “of” (having its source and origin in) Him, our Lord and God. May we then, by the grace and anointing of the Lord Jesus Christ, come to love as He is, as He loves, and not as we are, for His greater glory, honor and praise!
Every Blessing in the Lord Jesus Christ Paul!

[...] “TO MOVE BEYOND?” This is a post by Phil McAlomond that brings to light the fervent desire that we must possess for going on unto perfection in Christ. I don’t quite know how to explain it, but it’s an awesome read and will encourage anyone who takes a moment to check it out. [...]
